Trump Twitter Attack on 'Morning Joe' Hosts

President Donald Trump and White House aide Dan Scavino ripped "Morning Joe" hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski Thursday morning via Twitter for speaking poorly of the president.

Two Republican lawmakers who have always been critical of the president quickly responded on Twitter.

Two Republican senators say the president's crude tweet about a female cable TV host is beneath the dignity of the office.

Although Sasse did not reference Trump by name, a spokesman for Sasse confirmed that his tweet was referring to the President's behavior on Twitter.

And second, the tweets show that Trump can't ever seem to drop a personal vendetta (remember the Rosie O'Donnell saga?).

Everybody in Washington, in the administration, needs to look at this from, I think, a point of view where they're not lobotomized because you're sitting in there and you're so scared of him, and you think you need to suck up to the president.

"I know that the plan as of right now and certainly in the most recent draft of the bill is to make sure that Medicaid is protected". Several Republican members of Congress were quick to condemn his actions as "beneath" the office of the president and inappropriate.

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R., S.C.) wrote: "Mr. President, your tweet was beneath the office and represents what is wrong with American politics, not the greatness of America".

'...to Mar-a-Lago 3 nights in a row around New Year's Eve, and insisted on joining me.

Trump said they asked to join him during a visit to his Florida resort, Mar-a-Lago, and that he said "no". They don't want you to do it and they're constantly trying to stop you from doing it and I'm sure they're trying to do that with Trump.

The rift between #Donald Trump and the mainstream media has only gotten worse as his presidency has moved forward.

"Please just stop", Sasse said.

"This is a president who fights fire with fire and certainly will not be allowed to be bullied", Sanders said, which is a amusing way to frame it - that the most powerful man in the world could somehow be bullied. Presented with a mess that's so hard to clean up, Sanders and McDaniel are basically shrugging and saying it's Joe's and Mika's responsibility to do the cleaning. Trump wrote in his opening insult tweet Thursday morning (sic).

The White House hasn't responded to a request for comment.

"Mrs. Trump cares deeply about issues impacting women and children, and she has focused her platform as First Lady on the problem of cyber bullying among our youth".

This actor was #BlockedByTrump, but not by first daughter Ivanka, a fact he used to his advantage after she tweeted a widely-mocked tribute to "my LGBT friends" at the start of Pride Month.
