Ben Affleck Says 'Justice League' Is A 'Product Of Two Directors'

He considers the Warner Bros. team-up movie to be "an interesting product of two directors, both with kind of unique visions, both with really strong takes".

With Zack Snyder stepping aside from finishing off the "Justice League" movie due to a family tragedy, many have speculated on how Joss Wehdon's involvement would affect the tone of the film. Joss Whedon stepped in to finish the film, and that has people anxious.

But Justice League has been plagued by rumors of troubles ever since it began shooting. Zack had a family tragedy, and stepped off, which was disgusting.

Justice League is a big movie for Warner Bros.

"The best person we could've possibly found was Joss". Morton, who plays Cyborg's father Dr. Silas Stone in the film (and the previous Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice), said that he was called in for the reshoots as his in-story son (played by Ray Fisher) needed some "adjustsments" to the "tone" of his character. But with this summer's Wonder Woman striking a chord with fans and crushing at the box office, the DCEU is on much more solid footing heading into Justice League.

"Well, the stuff that I had to do were just really small little bits and pieces, nothing necessarily having to do with tone".

As you'd expect with a film of this magnitude, there's been plenty of rumour and speculation surrounding said reshoots, with reports claiming they will greatly alter the film, while members of the cast such as Ray Fisher and Ben Affleck have played down the speculation by calling them standard. "They did a reshoot with Robin Wright from "Wonder Woman" to setup a flashback explaining who Steppenwolf is, and Steppenwolf is now the big bad of this movie, whereas Darkseid was this looming threat that won't now come, I don't think".

Based on what Ben Affleck had to say about the finished product for Justice League, it seems that the future is looking bright for the DCEU. It is a very good time to work with DC.

Fueled by the hero's restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman's selfless act, Justice League sees Bruce Wayne enlist the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. "They beckon, they are doing things correctly, and it starts to give really the impression that it's going to work". As always, we'll have to wait and see.

Justice League is scheduled to arrive in theaters November 17th.
