Destiny 2 Competitive Multiplayer Trailer Shows Off New Moves

In fact, this August 28, players on PC will get a chance to play the game, which developers have already tweaked based on the console beta feedback they've received. Winning in Control will also require a few more points than it does now to lengthen the match times. Starting off, the matchmaking systems used in the Quickplay and Competitive playlists will be tuned individually.

For more on Destiny 2, read what the game's developers had to say in response to your questions about the upcoming sequel as part of our IGN First coverage and read about the minimum specs required for the Destiny 2 PC beta before it begins later this month.

Competitive: Matchmaking takes more time to introduce you to players that are closer to you in skill with a good connection. According to Gamespot, such glitches include the Infinite Super Glitch, in which Infinite Supers function properly until a player loses an eye.

Bungie has also listed some of the fixes and tweaks it has made to the game code. So awesome it hurt us a little bit to kill it. Thanks to those in the console Beta who helped us track this down.

FIXED: Infinite Grenades Glitch Another issue found with the help of our friends in the console Beta. Also tweaked is the Warlock melee attack, which will now have the same range as other classes (the exception being when perks increase range).

In a blog post, Crucible design lead Lars Bakken detailed the changes between the Destiny 2 PC beta and console beta, leading off with the adjustments that will be made to matchmaking for the Quickplay Competitive modes.

This was one of my chief complaints with the console beta, so it's great to see Bungie react. "We agree it was taking a bit too long to cook up a Super".

"Increased damage helps grenades feel as powerful as they should facing hordes of alien combatants and, more specifically, makes the longer cooldowns more palatable", Hamrick said. It may not be the best mode to choose if you're not interested in playing the game with people who are way better at Destiny 2 than you, but it does guarantee you'll get into a match faster than before with the new Quickplay rules.

This is something we had felt internally and have been slowly tuning up over the last several weeks.

"The PC beta has been updated with our new values and will provide much more power ammo in PvE than what was found before". The drop rate for Power ammo has been increased and is now a guaranteed drop from Major (yellow health bar) enemies.

Sadly Destiny 2 on PC will be releasing after the PS4 and Xbox One versions, missing the September 6 release date given for the console versions.
