For Honor Season Three detailed ahead of launch

For Honor Season Three detailed ahead of launch

The question among the community is whether or not Season 3 will have enough "oomph" to bring back and keep players.

For Honor's third "Season" will launch on 15 August, bringing a pair of new melee masters, some maps, and 1v1 dual tournaments. It adds two new characters, the Gladiator for the Knights and the Highlander for the Vikings, and two new maps, Sentinel and Viking Village. All other players will be able to purchase the Highlander and the Gladiator on the 22nd of August for 15,000 steel credits. The upcoming season 3 content is coming on August 15th. In their defensive form, counter-attacks and trading blows are order of the day, while their offensive form allows for deadly attacks at the expense of being able to block. Their massive claymore is also the longest and heaviest sword in the game, providing them with "a deadly combination of strength and range".

The Gladiator is a trident and shield equipped Knight Assassin that can punch their opponents to create separation to set up attacks and stuns. They also have a larger stamina meter than other classes and a reduced cooldown time, making them "extremely agile and unsafe opponents". The maps will each feature unique terrains and environmental hazards that players will have to tread lightly through to ensure their safety while battling it out with other "For Honor" players. There'll be a whole new legendary gear rarity, too, and the reputation cap for Heroes will be raised to 40, giving players more customization options. But while the new fighters are the core addition that players will undoubtedly look forward to, there have also been several changes made to certain maps as well as plans made for more competitive play. Competing in tournaments will allow you to earn higher rankings, which reset every Season, to win exclusive rewards. As for the near future, fans can look forward to the 4v4 ranked modes, which are set to be released later this year. It's been the third best-selling title of 2017 so far in the USA, and now Ubisoft is releasing a major content update that can keep its players engaged and happy. Gameplay updates and balancing adjustments are also to be expected with this update.
