Fire at Mumbai's RK Studio, no casualty

The famous studio was initially founded and setup by the showman Raj Kapoor in 1948 and is now operational under the supervision of Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor.

The film studio is named after legendary Bollywood actor Raj Kapoor and is owned by the RK Film Production Company. It was confined to electric wiring, electric installation and decoration equipment.

He further wrote, "A Studio can be built again but the loss of the irreplaceable memorabilia and costumes of all RK Films, is tragic for all".

As of now, no injuries have been reported in the incident.

"We have pressed six fire engines and five water tanks to douse the fire", said a senior fire official. "Thankfully, [there were] no casualties.All your concerns are appreciated".
