Memo to CNN: They Don't Call It The "Boob Tube" for Nothing

Memo to CNN: They Don't Call It The

"I'm a first amendment absolutist and believe in two things completely - the First Amendment and boobs", Fox Sports Radio's Clay Travis said.

"I'm done", Baldwin interrupted.

"Wait, what did you just say?" "What did you just say? Did you just say you believe in in the First Amendment and B-double-O-B-S?"

As Travis tried to continue his point, Baldwin kept returning to the comment, trying to clarify whether Travis had said "booze" or "boobs". "I'm done", she then said. And, after all, boobs are one of the only things that have never let Travis down "in this entire country's history". I also don't believe Curt Schilling should have been fired for what he said about the North Carolina transgender bathroom law or any of the other conservative political positions he's adopted over the years. As if there's debate about the existence of boobs-but then again, there are flat-Earthers and climate change deniers, so maybe Travis has brushed up against fringe anti-boob movements.

Evidently that was the point Travis was attempting to make during his weird rant: since ESPN fired Curt Schilling for making anti-trans bathroom comments, it should be consistent and also discipline Hill.

"I say it live on radio all the time".

CNN host Brooke Baldwin could not believe what she was hearing: "Hold on".

Travis was on the network to speak about ESPN's Jemele Hill, who entered the Trump administration's line of fire after recently calling the president and his supporters "white supremacists" on Twitter. Live television happens and you think you hear something, but you're not really sure. In quick succession he called out Baldwin on Twitter, posted a response video, and announced he'd make T-shirts with the slogan, with funds going to breast cancer charities. He also said he's been invited back on CNN.
