In the meantime, Niall will be criss-crossing the globe to visit some countries like Australia, Sweden, Japan and more for a tour in support of the forthcoming album.

One Direction might be on hiatus, but it's clear that Niall Horan is busier than ever.

After releasing his first few solo songs This Town and Slow Hands earlier this year, the former One Direction has officially announced that he will be releasing his debut album Flicker next month on October 20th. Morris will join Horan's tour as the opening act.

"The Irish singer released his new single, 'Too Much to Ask" just 24 hours after celebrating his 24th birthday on Wednesday.

'It's a very special song to me and I hope you like it, ' he said.
