Radhe Maa given VIP treatment at a Delhi police station, probe begins

The latest entrant in the list is a Delhi Police SHO who gave his chair to "flamboyant" self-styled god woman Radhe Maa.

Self-styled god-woman, Radhe Maa once again courted controversy as she was caught in a video receiving a grand welcome at Vivek Vihar police station and later sat on the chair of the Station House Officer (SHO).

Nupur Prasad, Deputy Commissioner of Police of Shahdara region said that the matter has been taken very seriously and an inquiry at the Deputy Commissioner of Police level is initiated. A photograph purportedly taken at the Vivek Vihar police station showed Sharma, draped in a red and gold shawl worn by Hindu devotees, standing next to the godwoman with folded hands.

Radhe Maa, the self-proclaimed godwoman is back into headlines and this time, by ridiculing the police department in the eyes of public.

The SHO has been criticised for his action with the Delhi unit of Bharatiya Janta Party demanding his suspension. Dressed in her traditional attire with trident in her hand, Radhe Maa can be enjoying the song.

A separate investigation has also been ordered into a video clipping that shows several police officials in uniform singing along with the controversial godwoman who is seen dancing, a police officer added.

A photograph tweeted by news agency ANI, captioned "warm welcome", has landed the chief of the police station, Sanjay Sharma, in trouble.

Netizens question, will the SHO allow any other common passerby to use washroom in his office? She is accused in two different cases including of dowry harassment in Mumbai.

In 2015, a BJP MLA from Gujarat had demanded a probe against Kaur in connection with a case where seven members of a family committed suicide.
