Chance of rain on Tuesday

And just like that we're less than two weeks before Thanksgiving.

Temperatures will remain below normal for the week and turning colder during the weekend. Scattered showers throughout the day with windy conditions throughout the afternoon. We could see some light flurries come Saturday with highs in the 40s.

But it is close enough to generate rain and/or snow showers, especially in central and southern New England today. The average high temperature for this date is 52 degrees, the low 32.

Across northern New England, there is some light snow associated with this system, but it's mainly the type of thing that accumulates on grassy surfaces and in shady areas.

Rain is on its way out this afternoon but cloud cover will linger.
