Isco: Bale Is Having A Hard Time

Real Madrid have reported that Welsh star Gareth Bale has suffered an injury setback, following an issue that has kept him out since early last month.

"Bale breaks down again", splashed the front page of Madrid sports daily AS.

The former Tottenham Hotspur man tore a muscle in his calf at the beginning of October, leaving him ineligible to compete in important matches for both club and country; and it's looking like he could miss several more games.

Isco admits that Real Madrid teammate Gareth Bale "is having a hard time", having been ruled out of action for a further month or so.

The 28-year-old, who has been restricted to just nine appearances in all competitions this season, was in line to return to Madrid's line-up ahead of next week's La Liga derby against Atletico Madrid until picking up the injury.

Fans have been desperate to see Bale reunite with Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema in attack following the club's slow start to the campaign.

Bale has not featured for Real since suffering another calf injury in the Champions League win over Borussia Dortmund on September 26.

The Wales worldwide has sustained another injury setback and is expected to be out for close to a month.
