Monster Hunter World beta dates detailed by Capcom

By bringing the necessary materials to the in-game facility (Smithy), players will be able to forge the Horizon Zero Dawn collaboration equipment. Be sure to check out the Rotten Vale trailer with all new monsters and details below!

Today at Paris Games Week, Capcom announced a Monster Hunter: World beta coming exclusively for PS Plus members next month. Two of those missions will take place on "The Great Forest" map, which is named for being a forest (duh), while the final mission will feature "Wildspire Waste", a desert like area.

Aloy being a part of the game is somewhat fitting since Horizon is clearly inspired by the earlier Monster Hunter games. The beta will start on the 9th December and will run until the 12th December.

Monster Hunter: World will be available on the 26th January.

Players will be able to acquire her full armor set, including the bow, of course, as well as her Palico armor. With that said, you can only grab this playable character on the PlayStation version.

Along with that news comes another new trailer, showing off "The Rotten Vale". It also featured a bunch of new monsters and the different environments in the game. It's gonna be a wild ride, Monster Hunters!

Fans are encouraged to wait for more updates regarding the game's developments. There is to be a PC version as well, but that doesn't have a release date yet.
