Patty Jenkins On Brett Ratner: "Extremely Distressed" Over Allegations

Patty Jenkins On Brett Ratner:

Henstridge told the Times that Ratner, 48, allegedly forced her to perform oral sex on him during an incident in his NY apartment in the early 1990s when she was a 19-year-old model, according to the report.

"He walked out ... with his belly sticking out, no trousers on, shrimp cocktail in one hand and he was furiously masturbating in the other".

'And before I literally could even figure out where to escape or where to look, he ejaculated, ' she continued.

The other two women who came forward were both extras on the set of the 2001 film Rush Hour 2.

Hollywood's widening sexual harassment crisis has embroiled one of the industry's biggest names as Oscar-winner Dustin Hoffman came forward to apologise for allegedly sexually harassing a 17-year-old intern in 1985.

Writer Anna Graham Hunter alleged in a column in The Hollywood Reporter that the now 80-year-old Hoffman groped her on the set of TV movie Death of a Salesman and "talked about sex to me and in front of me". A year later, Ratner identified himself as the unnamed director during a television interview and claimed he "banged her a few times", which he later told Howard Stern wasn't true. "Furthermore, no woman has ever requested or received any financial settlement from my client".

Jenkins went on in her statement on Twitter to say, "I have never witnessed nor been aware of anything that is now being described".

She added: "He strong-armed me in a real way".

Though Ratner "vehemently disputes" Munn's accusations through his lawyer, the "Newsroom" actress said she has "made specific, conscientious choices not to work with Brett Ratner".

"At some point, I gave in and he did his thing", she told the newspaper. Ratner's attorneys have denied the allegations, as have former assistants who worked with the Rush Hour and Red Dragon director. Olivia Munn, Natasha Henstridge, Jaime Ray Newman, Katharine Towne, Eri Sasaki, and Jorina King all shared stories of Ratner's inappropriate behavior on or off set in accounts to the Los Angeles Times.

The Beverly Hills Police Department said yesterday they were investigating "multiple complaints" against Weinstein and Toback, who face numerous allegations of unwanted sexual encounters but deny forcing themselves on women. Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot had pulled out of the dinner shortly beforehand, and Jenkins took her place. "We find this kind of behavior completely unacceptable", a Playboy spokesperson said in a statement.
