Race 3: Salman Khan kickstarts shoot, shares the mahurat picture

Saif Ali Khan headlined both the previous films while Remo D'Souza takes over stewardship of Race 3 from director duo Abbas-Mustan. Remo shared the clapboard on social media and wrote, "The biggest Race of my life begins".

After raising the bar with the impressive trailer of Tiger Zinda Hai, Bollywood heartthrob Salman Khan is now making his fans excited for his forthcoming venture Race 3. The actor shared a group photograph in which the entire cast was all smiles.

Salman Khan on November 10 shared a photograph of the entire "Race 3" team on the micro-blogging website and drew attention towards "how hot, cool, sweet, charming and sexy" Ramesh Taurani looks.

Eariler there were reports that Race 3 team will shoot the title song on the first day, but that didn't happen. Race 3 would have a cast of many other stars apart from Salman and Jacqueline. It is the third film in Race franchise.

The big-budget action thriller, which went on floors yesterday, will also see Bobby Deol, Daisy Shah and Saqib Saleem in pivotal roles.

Salman for the first time is a part of Race franchise which is set to hit the screens next year during Eid weekend. Once again Remo has donned the hat of a director while Salman and Ramesh are producing the flick.

While Akshaye Khanna, Katrina Kaif and Sameera Reddy were seen in the first film, John Abraham, Jacqueline Fernandez and Deepika Padukone starred in Race 2.
