Samsung announces Exynos 9810 processor capable of gigabit LTE speeds

Samsung announces Exynos 9810 processor capable of gigabit LTE speeds

Samsung Galaxy J3 2018 specifications are leaked on a GFXBench listing. This confirms that the Infinity Display will be used for the upcoming update to the mid-range smartphone. According to a benchmarking test, there is evidence that the Galaxy A series of phones, or more accurately, the Galaxy A5 2018 is going to be the first phone to get this particular change added to its metal chassis. It will come with a Quad Core Cortex-A53 processor clocked at 1.5 GHz, a little more than the last year's 1.4 GHz clock rate. However, the processor is mentioned to come coupled with the powerful Mali G71 GPU. It runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box with the customized TouchWiz UI laid on top.

Apart from that, the GFX listing also reveals that the phone will come with all the necessary sensors like accelerometer, gyroscope and proximity sensor and other features like Bluetooth, GPS, and WiFi. Both the cameras are said to support up to 1080p video recording.

The new patent filing shines light over the potential of the Galaxy X. We will have to wait for 2018 to roll over to see if this phone will materialise or it is all just a collection of patents.

It also includes an accelerometer, e-compass, gyroscope, and proximity sensors. The Galaxy J3 (2017) was introduced later in India with better specs. This is purely speculation, but it would be unusual for Samsung to bring the Infinity Display to the Galaxy A5 without doing the same for its larger Galaxy A7 counterpart. In terms of optics, the Galaxy J3 (2017) sports a 5MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera. As of now, there is no information about the pricing and availability of the Galaxy J3 (2018) smartphone.
