Terry Crews follows up on sexual assault claims with police report

A month after making such allegations, the 49-year-old Hollywood actor has finally filed a police report against the alleged assailant, reports TMZ.

Terry went on to empathise with the victims of Harvey Weinstein's alleged sexual harassment for not coming forward sooner, and claimed that Harvey Weinstein is not the only perpetrator.

"This whole thing with Harvey Weinstein is giving me PTSD", he recalled in the first of a series of tweets.

Crews added that he told everyone he knew and worked with about what happened to him.

"Brooklyn Nine-Nine" actor Terry Crews has taken action against the Hollywood honcho he claims groped him at a party previous year.

"Jumping back, I said, 'What are you doing?!' He just grinned like a jerk", Crews wrote. My wife saw everything [and] we looked at him like he was insane.

Last week, The Hollywood Reporter reported that WME agent Adam Venit was the subject of Crews' tweets.

"People have to be held accountable", he tells a photographer of why he chose to file a report before adding he plans to file a lawsuit. Venit is on leave while WME investigates the incident.

Now, he is pursuing the case as the incident is recent enough for the police to launch an investigation.

Crews said he later received a phone call from Venit, who reportedly apologized, but the actor added he never found out "why he did what he did".

USA TODAY has reached out to Crews' representative for comment.

Instead, Crews said he let it go and left the event.

Crews went on to state that he did not take action at the time out of fear of being "ostracized", reasoning it was "par (for) the course when the predator has power (and) influence".

"Who's going 2 believe you?"
