"With regard to Bumrah, if we look at his performance in the last 18 months, he has been sensational". Considering his Ranji Trophy performances previous year, where he bowled brilliantly the whole season. "The players have selected themselves", said BCCI chairman of selectors MSK Prasad. It's a unanimous choice and he definitely adds variety.

"I really feel unfortunate for Kuldeep Yadav".

It was earlier reported that following Kohli's concerns about lack of preparation time, a decision will be taken whether some of the Test specialists could be sent to South Africa early to acclimatise with the conditions.

On Parthiv PatelÂ's selection as the second wicketkeeper, Prasad reiterated that he's being seen as the second stumper in the longer version after Wriddhiman Saha.
