National Cookie Day 2017: Where to find free and cheap cookies today

Did you know there's an entire day devoted to cookies and the people who love them? So before you rush out to grab your free (or cheap) cookie, be sure to call ahead and see if your local store is joining in on the fun of National Cookie Day.

"It was only right to announce our festive celebration on a day dedicated to our favorite treat", said Shawn McAteer, senior vice president and global head, DoubleTree by Hilton. The event will celebrate the beginning of the empire built by Debbi Fields starting in 1977. Mrs. Fields will also reportedly have a pretty great online deal for National Cookie Day, offering 40% off a selection of items. It's gonna be a day too sweet to skip. It's available only for a limited time, and will come with a free bottle of milk for the Monday holiday. The treat will be available for $2.99 for a limited time, and on December 4, all Cinnabon locations will be offering a free 8-ounce bottle of Fairlife milk with every BonBite purchase while supplies last.

DoubleTree by Hilton is doubling down on its affinity for its signature Cookie with a twist on the traditional "milk and cookies" holiday combination with a "Chocolate Chip Cookies and Drinks" pairings guide.

They're a mini version of the classic cinnamon roll, inside of a chocolate chip cookie shell.

This offer is valid from December 1, 2017 through December 4, 2017, while supplies last.

Whole Foods Market: The grocery chain is having a 50% off sale on the cookie bar. This offer seems to be getting a bit less traction than others, and there's no explicit cap on how many cookies will be given away, so it seems like a good bet.
