Not as cold tonight; cloudy skies through the weekend — FIRST ALERT FORECAST

There is a slight chance for snow showers tonight but no accumulation is expected. Expect overnight lows to fall into the mid to upper 20s.

Wednesday's high should be 67 degrees and Thursday should reach 68, the weather service said. It is mostly cloudy with temperatures in the upper 30s on Friday and a low pressure system in the region gives us the chance for a wintry mix late in the day.

Saturday should be mostly sunny with temperatures in the mid 50s.

Temperatures warmed into the lower 50s Tuesday afternoon with just a few clouds.

Tomorrow, plan to bundle up even more, with a high of 42 in the forecast.

Average high temperatures for this time of year are usually in the upper 50s. I'm keeping a 20% chance for rain Friday morning. Highs will be in the low to mid-60s.

Rain will linger into the morning hours Sunday and begin to dissipate through the rest of the day.

Monday, skies begin to clear and north winds stick around a little longer. Cloud cover lingers Monday, but we stay dry, and sunshine returns Tuesday.

Mostly sunny to partly cloudy for the middle of the week with afternoon temperatures warming back into the lower to mid 60s. A reinforcing cold front is tracking toward the state. Be sure to keep tuning in for when the next big cool down will take place.
