PUBG to run at 60fps on Xbox One X

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG) will be running at a smooth 60fps if you are playing it on the Xbox One X. Sadly, you might only get 30fps while playing on the original Xbox One or Xbox One S.

Many Xbox One owners are anticipating the release of PUBG on consoles when it arrives on December 12th for $29.99. They'll certainly be keen on trying, though.

After being teased for a prolonged amount of time, it was finally revealed that PUBG will be released on the Xbox One console on December 12th, 2017, which will expand the game to a whole new audience. Maybe we'll see these features end up in the regular versions.

The game is poised to make a splash, no matter its frames per second, that's for sure, since it's already taken the world by storm these past few months.

Consoles have long struggled to hit the 60fps mark, but the Xbox One X is the game changer with native support for 4K, HDR, and 60fps.

The news came in a tweet posted today, though Brendan also emphasised that the game is constantly being refined, and that options are being explored to increase the framerate.

Greene, however, noted that the frame rate is not very important. One of the biggest complaints you'll see in the Steam reviews is the games lack of optimization in some areas, even with high-end PC builds. "The amount of detail that has to go into 4K textures is enormous, and it's going to take us some time to get them, but we do have a plan".

PlayerUnknown Battleground - why exclusive to Microsoft?

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds will launch for Xbox Game Preview on December 12th, and is now in early access on PC, with a planned release date of late December.
