Allegiant announces new flights from Flint to Ft. Lauderdale, Myrtle Beach

With the addition of this new Orlando route, Allegiant will now serve four cities from Syracuse Hancock International Airport.

The Punta Gorda Airport is pleased to announce that Allegiant will offer nonstop airline service to Nashville, Tennessee to begin June 7.

Starting May 30, the new route will operate twice a week, year-round. They must be booked by Thursday to get the discount fares.

"This is an extremely positive development for MEM, as it adds another West Coast destination for our passengers", said Pace Cooper, Chairman of the Board of Commissioners for the Memphis-Shelby County Airport Authority.

In February, low-priced carrier Frontier Airlines announced it would start offering seasonal nonstop flights from Savannah to Denver and Philadelphia. That airport is 33 miles from the Orlando Sanford airport.

Allegiant has continued to build its portfolio at Bishop since it began operating flights in Flint in 2016, now offering routes to four cities in Florida as well as Myrtle Beach. "We're excited to add more warm, sunny travel options for Syracuse residents".
