Microsoft Windows 10 Pro OEM CD-KEY GLOBAL: just $12.60!

Microsoft Windows 10 Pro OEM CD-KEY GLOBAL: just $12.60!

Still, since the company has already used "Fall Creators Update", maybe this fall's update (assuming there is one) will be forced to break new ground.

On March 7th the corporate veep of Microsoft's operating systems group, Joe Belfiore, tweeted the product would disappear and become a "mode" in Windows. Microsoft had positioned Windows 10 S, released just last May, as its "lightweight" operating system alternative to Google's Chrome OS.

The name first appeared in a Microsoft blog post previous year, but is apparently in the latest Windows 10 preview build, which rolled out Wednesday to select Windows Insiders.

Other updates in the Windows 10 preview build released yesterday are aimed at fixing glitches that users might have encountered with OneDrive files, the Microsoft Store, Windows Mixed Reality, and touchpad/touch keyboard usage.

Windows 10 is created to be compatible with the hardware, software, and peripherals you already own.

It remains unclear how turning Windows 10 S into a "mode" will alleviate customers' confusion.

Microsoft's therefore decided that "Starting with the next update to Windows 10, coming soon, customers can choose to buy a new Windows 10 Home or Windows 10 Pro PC with S mode enabled, and commercial customers will be able to deploy Windows 10 Enterprise with S mode enabled". These rumors turned out to be false as Belfiore confirmed in his blog post. ANd also users can switch back to the normal mode when they needed. Insiders will see different versions of the new privacy interface, allowing Microsoft to see which options might work best for a wider audience. Previously, if users wanted to switch from Windows 10 S to Windows 10 Pro, they would have to pay $49, as pointed out by ZDNet.
