The woman's lawyers have planned a news conference at state lottery headquarters in Concord later Wednesday.

"She wishes to continue this work and the freedom to walk into a grocery store or attend public events without being known or targeted as the victor of a half-billion dollars", the complaint said. Jane Doe was the 11th Powerball jackpot victor in New Hampshire history - and her massive payout is the biggest in state history.

The winner's attorney, William Shaheen, said in a statement he was collecting the prize in the name of the Good Karma Family 2018 Nominee Trust, which the victor established to serve as a legal mechanism to accept the money.

The woman filed a lawsuit against the state to remain anonymous, but lawyers were allowed to pick up a lump sum of $352m in Powerball winnings.

The Powerball prize was the second-largest for a single victor in Powerball history and the seventh-largest in US lottery history.

The woman won the fifth-largest jackpot in the history of the multistate Powerball lottery drawing in early January but began her legal odyssey when she signed her winning ticket with her own name, which would make her identity a matter of public record. "She wishes to remain in New Hampshire and give back to the state and community that has given so much to her".

"The lottery is a business so they want to sell tickets, they want to put a face to the win", he said.

Weaver also notices that many female lottery winners are keen on anonymity: "Thankfully theLotter is experienced in handling such privacy-related requests".

"On behalf of the Good Karma Family 2018 Nominee Trust, we are pleased to accept this Powerball prize", said Shaheen.
