Watch Taylor Swift's new music video for 'Delicate'

The video aired exclusively at the iHeart Radio Music Awards tonight after Swift picked up the award for Best Female Artist. Although "Look What You Made Me Do" stormed to the top of the Billboard Hot 100, it did not have much staying power.

Though the Swift video features more of a plot and several different locations, most of the observations are comparing Swift's jerky and disjointed dance moves to those performed by Qualley in the Kenzo ad.

The singer released her album "Reputation" previous year, skewering the public perceptions of her many faces and identities. She removes part of her dress and starts dancing.

If you thought "the old Taylor Swift" was dead, then you're sorely mistaken, because the 28-year-old has unveiled a goofy and endearing clip very reminiscent of the star's early days.

"Anybody else notice that the @taylorswift13 "Delicate" music video ripped off Spike Jonze's Kenzo video?"

While the video is carefree and quirky on the surface, it seems to have some deeper subtext as well.

And she shows off one of them in the new music video for her 2017 song Delicate, dramatically doing the splits in the rain on the hood of a auto. Instead of her usual #squad, though, Swift is alone.

However, some observers were quick to point out feelings of déjà vu upon viewing the video for Delicate - with one 2016 clip coming to mind.

The track, taken from 2017's Reputation album, finds Swift skewering her public perception in the wake of a new crush - "My reputation's never been worse, so you must like me for me", she sings. Ready For It? and End Game.

And fans quickly left love for "Delicate" in the comments.
