Fox Information Graphic Claims It is Least-Trusted Cable Information Community

"Media Buzz" host Howard Kurtz had been expecting to see statistics showing that over three quarters of the American public thinks the mainstream media reports "fake news" on a regular basis. "Hold off. Take that down, please", said the panicking Fox News host. The original poll was referencing to three-quarters of US citizens believing the media reports "fake news" with two options, "regularly" or "occasionally". As the Washington Post noted, "the three cable networks were not being compared to each other; instead, poll respondents were asked to compare each network to Trump as a trusted source of information".

"Speaking of fake news", Kurtz continued. However as video of the phase exhibits, this system later aired the community belief graphic throughout the fitting level in Kurtz and Lutz's dialogue. He said it was posted out of sequence, which explained why he asked to take it down but then referred to it later in the segment. This echoed partisan chatter online that I had somehow panicked or didn't want to show the poll graphic, which is flatly contradicted by reality.

And the result on the graphics showed: CNN was trusted at 48 percent, MSNBC at 45 percent and Fox News was the least trusted by just 30 percent.

Speaking with pollster Frank Luntz about Donald Trump's Twitter habits, with Luntz calling the president's use of "fake news" detrimental to his cause, Kurtz brought up a recent poll from Monmouth University on news trustworthiness.

The project was viewed by Democrats as anti-media and was criticized for attacking press freedom.
