Leaked LG G7 ThinQ render reveals phone's colours, mystery side button

Colors shall vary depending on the region, but all markets should see the Aurora Black one come. Now it is also confirmed that the smartphone has to come with a ThinQ branding. Today, the official press render of the phone has leaked that shows the design from the rear as well as the front, in all the colour options that it is coming with.

LG has confirmed that its next major smartphone will be named the LG G7 ThinQ.

As per the images, the LG G7 ThinQ will come in in Raspberry Rose, Moroccan Blue, Moroccan Blue (Matte), Platinum Grey, and Aurora Black color options.

The LG G7 ThinQ has been announced as LG's next premium smartphone. This design has now been further corroborated by a new report which has leaked official press renders of the upcoming phones.

The LG G7 ThinQ is expected to rock an octa-core Snapdragon 845 chipset coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. LG finds that the super-wide camera is a much more unique feature to have and would rather stand out in this way.

Also, the LG G7 ThinQ has a dual camera set up in the rear panel but it will be in vertical shape rather than the horizontal shape of previous LG models. Android Authority speculates that it may be a dedicated hardware button for LG's artificial intelligence feature.

Earlier this year, LG announced the LG V30S ThinQ with AI camera features, like an AI CAM feature that analyzes the subject in your camera's frame and recommends the optimal shooting mode. This would be similar to what Samsung is doing with its own line of smartphones that have a dedicated button for its Bixby assistant. It is likely to arrive with dual 16-megapixel camera lens with f/1.6 aperture. The 6GB RAM variant of the phone could end up being called the LG G7 ThinQ Plus, but we're only guessing, anything is possible.

The LG G7 ThinQ will be full revealed at events in New York City on May 2 and in Seoul on May 3.
