OnePlus 6: New leak offers our best look yet at next flagship

OnePlus 6 launch is fast approaching and the rumors are also fast.

The device is expected feature 19:9 aspect ratio, Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 CPU, Adreno 630 GPU, 6/8GB of RAM, 128/256GB of internal memory, and Android 8.1 Oreo with OxygenOS. The team works under the vision of Pete Lau, founder and CEO, OnePlus who believes that smartphones should not be a burden to our lives; instead they should make it better and smarter. OnePlus 6 will be the next flagship smartphone of the company.

The latest leaks are in addition to what we saw last week when OnePlus itself dropped or confirmed some OnePlus 6 details. As per a leaked image, the OnePlus 6 may also come in a wood-inspired back panel design.

So apart from white and black which happens to be the usual color that OnePlus flagships have always been available in, there is the new blue color options that is set to be the biggest attraction this time. The leaked image reveals a display with a notch, an edge-to-edge screen, and a teaser for the phone's DxOMark rating with possibly a triple score. What is distinctly visible is the notch, which we've already seen through a render officially shared by OnePlus with The Verge recently. And, OnePlus 6 leaks and rumours floating on the Internet, combined with information provided directly from the manufacturer, have not left much to the imagination. The smartphone is said to arrive with an Avengers: Infinity War edition in UK. And on the battery front, the OnePlus 6 one-ups the OnePlus 5T, as it comes with a 3450mAh cell (the 5T's battery had a capacity of 3300mAh). Will this be your first OnePlus phone? Further lending to the credibility is OnePlus' history with Disney, Marvel's parent company.

As per a CNMO report, renders of the OnePlus 6 showcasing the three new colour models of the handset has been posted on microblogging site Weibo.

The upcoming OnePlus 6 is being tested by the TEAM FSE to deliver a truly "burdenless user experience". We'll keep you updated on the latest. OnePlus 6 may come to India soon after OnePlus launches the device globally, which means in India too the May launch of the OnePlus 6 is possible.
