Queen cracks Trump joke on camera

Queen cracks Trump joke on camera

"Why do they always go round and round when you want to talk?" the queen asks, adding: "Sounds like President Trump, or President Obama", apparently referring to the aircraft used by the USA presidents during visits to her.

Walking through the Palace's garden, the Queen is visibly disturbed by an overhead helicopter flying above, giving Her Royal Highness the opportunity to show off her hilarious sense of humour.

Queen Elizabeth II has compared a noisy helicopter to those used by United States presidents Donald Trump and Barack Obama during an interview with filmmaker Sir David Attenborough.

During another light-hearted moment, the monarch spots a sapling bent over at an alarming angle, remarking: "Somebody sat on it I think, at the garden party". Picture: ITV/The Queen's Green Planet.

"In the often humorous exchange, the Queen reveals her passion for nature and how the garden's history is intertwined with that of her family, charting the lives of her children but also delving into the past of her great-great-grandparents Queen Victoria and Prince Albert".

But the laughs don't stop there with Sir David pointing out a sundial incorrectly positioned in the shade. "That it was planted in the shade, it wasn't in the shade originally, I'm sure?"

Queen Elizabeth II normally leaves the jokes to her husband.

The clip is part of "The Queen's Green Planet" which will broadcast in the United Kingdom on ITV at 9 p.m. on April 16.

Twitter users also went wild at the sight of the Queen and Attenborough chatting and making jokes. "Of course they've said 'Oh well, let's give her a plant ... or a tree or something.' Which is very nice to have".

President Trump has been offered a state visit to the United Kingdom to meet the Queen, as President Obama previously did, but has not yet taken up the invitation amid reports of fears over protests.
